Cookie policy
Last updated: 22 March 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Americano Pulse uses cookies and similar technologies on the public website and inside the product.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device by a website. Similar technologies can include local storage, session identifiers, or other lightweight browser-side storage used to remember settings or support platform functionality.
2. Cookies and storage we use
- Essential session cookies: used for sign-in continuity, security checks, and request protection.
- Preference storage: used to remember that you accepted the cookie banner so it does not reappear unnecessarily.
- Analytics cookies or related storage: used on the public site only after consent where required, so we can measure traffic, engagement, and platform interest.
3. Why we use them
- to keep the platform secure and usable;
- to maintain sign-in and session stability;
- to remember simple preferences such as cookie acceptance;
- to understand public-site performance and improve the product after consent for analytics is given.
4. Analytics
Americano Pulse uses Google Analytics on the public site. Analytics collection is configured to stay denied by default until the relevant consent action is taken through the site banner. Once accepted, we may measure traffic, navigation, engagement, and key product-interest actions so we can improve the public experience and onboarding flow.
5. Local storage
We may also use browser local storage for lightweight preference behaviour, such as remembering a cookie-consent choice. That does not replace core account security or server-side protections.
6. How to control cookies
- You can usually block or clear cookies through your browser settings.
- You can also clear local storage through your browser tools.
- If you block essential cookies, some parts of the platform may stop working properly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the platform or its tooling changes. The latest published version is the version that applies.
