Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Americano Pulse. By creating an account, joining a group, creating an event, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What the platform is

Americano Pulse is a web-based platform for managing padel americano groups, events, scoring, standings, historical records, and related organiser workflows. Features may change over time as the product develops.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in details secure.
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
  • If you use the platform on behalf of a venue, club, or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the platform lawfully, honestly, and in a way that does not disrupt other users, compromise security, or damage the integrity of the service.

  • Do not upload malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or probe the platform for vulnerabilities.
  • Do not enter false event results, misleading player data, or intentionally manipulated standings.
  • Do not use the service for spam, harassment, abusive behaviour, or unlawful activity.
  • Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the platform beyond the access expressly provided.

4. Groups, events, and scoring

  • Group owners, admins, and organisers remain responsible for who they invite, what data they enter, and how they run their events.
  • Scores, substitutions, walkovers, archived events, and final standings depend on information entered by users and organisers.
  • Americano Pulse provides tools and records. It does not independently verify that every entered score or event result is correct.
  • Historical event records may remain visible within the relevant group or account history after a session has ended.

5. Ratings, standings, and records

Ratings, standings, and related metrics are platform outputs generated from the data available in the system. They are intended to support session management and player progression, not to serve as a guaranteed official ranking outside the platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Club waitlist and future features

Club and venue submissions are expressions of interest only. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, launch timing, pricing, exclusivity, or any specific product roadmap decision.

7. Communications and support

We may send operational emails such as verification links, password resets, account notices, security messages, and other service communications required to run or protect the platform.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Americano Pulse, its software, interface design, branding, copy, visual elements, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the platform operator. Using the platform does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate accounts or access if needed for security, misuse prevention, legal compliance, operational stability, or enforcement of these terms. This includes accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or harmful to other users or the platform.

10. Availability and changes

  • The platform is provided on an as-available and as-updated basis.
  • We may add, change, pause, or remove features at any time for maintenance, security, product direction, or legal reasons.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every user-entered record will be complete or accurate.

11. Third-party services

The platform may rely on or link to third-party services such as email infrastructure, analytics, hosting providers, or external websites. We are not responsible for the independent policies, uptime, or conduct of those third-party services.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Americano Pulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of reputation, or event-management mistakes resulting from inaccurate user-entered information, service interruptions, third-party failures, or misuse of the platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Privacy and cookies

Your use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle personal data, cookies, and related technologies.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when published on the platform unless a different effective date is stated.
